Family Values Class

Our next class on March 3rd is our Family Values accordian book - inspired by Jenni Bowlin's project (a couple of years ago) this is a chance as a family document your standards and goals. So once again you have some homework! It does not matter if you have not worked out those things before the class ... you can add them in when you are ready.

You will need two photos .. i used black and white as they go well with the project colours. I used family photos as i had them available, if you do not .... just mix and match.

We have been talking about inspiration and where to find it is the recent classes. I am going to share from now on the cool blogs or websites i come across. To start i will share a few that i regularly check in. My friend Heidi Swapp is always inspiring. Her new venture House of Three has heaps of cool things, there are even freebies in the hybrid section. Her partners Rhonna and Janet are both great to check out too!

I enjoy Ali Edwards blog also. She is getting into some digital stuff too.

A digital website to check out is Designer Digitals they have all sorts of stuff you can purchase ... good for a browse!

This is a good start ... i will add more next time! I will post more photos of the project when the light is better tomorrow.

The goal is the preserve family memories - weather it be daily things or special events. The classes are a great way to meet new people and its always a great social occassion. We share any new finds and inspiration - its alot of fun!

the next class is the Gratitude Book. We will be constructed the whole book from scratch and then filling it with what we are greatful for.

Your homework this week is to make a list of 10 things you are greatful for ...

this will be the foundation for your book! You can see my one here ...

Valentines Day Class ...

Happy New Year ... really looking forward to getting back into the swing of things.

I have been working on the first class off the rank for the year, and with Valentines Day looming i decided that we better get ourselves organised... so we are going to make some cute little calling cards to leave for our loved ones on Valentines day, and also a valentines card so we can all write our "valentines" a love note! or you could give it to your other half to give back to you ... at least you know it will be gorgeous! wink!

Creative Kids Calender Class ... ongoing for 2009



This year we are doing a Calender Class that will progress through out 2009. Our first class we will complete January, February and March layouts to go in our calender. The next holidays we will do April. May, June and so on. The kids will learn different techniques and use different materials each time.
Its a great project to keep and remember a wonderful year

Christmas Party Class ....

this class will be our final Creative Cafe class for the year ... so we are going to celebrate with having a Christmas Party at the same time. We will have some presents, christmas food and lots of fun ...

we will be making these projects! Cute christmas gift box, wish list (with a page for each family member to list their wishes for christmas!) and a door knob wish list
